Beaches

Mykonos is well known for it’s broad range of beautiful beaches, some in a more natural setup, and some with bars and huts. Voted No.1 on TripAdvisor, Agia Anna Beach is a more relaxed and quiet destination. The beach has one restaurant called Nicholas Fish Taverner and the Agia Anna apartments with bar. Taverna is one of the oldest in Mykonos, and to accompany the fantastic and reasonably priced food, it has recently had a full refurb and looks great.

Other beaches include Ornos and Platys Gialos, both considered the most family friendly. Psarou Beach, which has several restaurants, is considered the trendiest beach on Mykonos, whilst Paradise Beach has a bustling party scene with beach bars sprawling out on to the sand.

Little Venice

Little Venice is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Mykonos. It’s traditional European charm with whitewashed buildings and narrow streets is captivating.

Looking out to sea the buildings overhang the water, combined with the famous Mykonos windmills on the horizon, make this a picturesque scene for any keen painter or photographer. A visit isn’t complete without a stop here for an afternoon drink or to dine as the sun goes down.

Mitoyianni
Street

Located at the center of the Chora, Matoyianni Street is the shoppers paradise of Mykonos. Whilst wandering through the picturesque stone alleys, shoppers can find a wealth of goods from high-end designer stores known to supply visiting celebrities, boutique jewelers offering reproductions (and originals) of ancient Byzantine pieces, to bustling markets offering local delicacies.

If all that shopping sounds tiring, there’s plenty of restaurants, bars and clubs to help you unwind into the evening and into the early hours! Agra Bar is one of the island’s most popular nightspots all year round with a unique cocktail list, excellent food offerings and top international DJs playing great music into the early hours.

Nightlife

If it’s an evening of hedonism and dancing in to the early hours that gets your feet moving, considered the new Ibiza, Mykonos has an electric nightlife scene. International DJ’s are no strangers to Mykonos!

For those that like the sand between their toes, dance at Cavo Paradiso on Paradise Beach until the early hours. This venue has a huge open-air dancefloor and is considered the “place to go” when the action in Mykonos Town winds down.

Originally founded in the early 80’s, Montparnasse Piano Bar is a favorite for watching sunsets. Located in the idyllic town of Little Venice, here you’ll find some of the best cocktails Mykonos has to offer. As the night progresses, the bar lives up to its name as camp cabaret and torch songs are belted out to live piano music. An intimate environment and glam evening for two.

Having entertained party goers for 50 years, Remezzo is a long standing resident on the Mykonos nightlife circuit. The venue attracts international jet-setters with regular guest DJ sets and is renowned for partying until dawn! Remezzo has recently undergone refurbishment and now includes a high-end seafood restaurant and cocktail bar with comfy waterfront seating.
